Embroidered Ikat Stripe

This modern interpretation of an embroidered ikat is a tactile and textured take on a delicate silk archival document. This valuable textile has, at some point, been repurposed as a scarf and is now transformed again. A dry cotton yarn and a more lustrous yarn are used for this finish, which is embellished with layers of embroidery - a truly modern interpretation of an ikat document, weighted, textural and luxurious.
